Recommend Quality Riding Lessons in Cheshire

I used to go there many many many years ago. The lady who ran it then has since died but she was helped by her daughter who now runs it. I was also on the yard as a livery having lessons on my own pony and they were always good. It used to be known as Derbyshire's.

How to remove wax arena surface from Horses feathers?

I used to experience this with the old surface at Stoneleigh many years ago. I found the best was washing up liquid rubbed in by hand and then rinsed very thoroughly.

    Yards near wilmslow cheshire

You could try Ruth Mason at Ash Farm in Ollerton, nice small yard with outdoor stables, plenty of hacking, arena and horsewalker.

Do PC ponies really cost that much?

If he gets into mounted games £10k would be about right for a fairly average pony, the good ones you can double that and more. Have heard of one that was leased for a season for that sum!

    Horse with heart murmur!

My pony was diagnosed with a heart Murmur nearly 3 years ago. Was diagnosed completely by accident during a routine call out. He was fit and out competing. He had a Grade 6 Diastolic murmur with musicality. He was referred to a specialist cardiologist who came and examined him, having a scan and...

Alderley Edge, Cheshire Full/Part Livery Yards?

The yard is run by Ruth Mason, she has a facebook page but I am not sure that the yard has a facebook page as it is usually filled by word of mouth rather than advertising. If your daughter is going to AESG then it is only about 10 mins drive from there. The price depends on the level of...

Alderley Edge, Cheshire Full/Part Livery Yards?

I am stabled on a lovely yard in Ollerton called Ash farm. There is a god outdoor arena, all year turnout and good hacking. The yard is smallish, friendly and a good mix of those who compete and those who don't. I have been on Somerford previously and it is definitely worth the drive, wouldn't...

    Too tall for ponies?

Personally I would say you are fine. I am much heavier than you, 10st3 and 5ft8. I have been competing my 14:2 Arab at national level competitions for the past 13 years and he has coped fine and won a world title along the way.
