I have 3 out 24/7 in Greenguard grazing muzzles and it works a treat. Just make sure the grass is a few inches long. They are moving and grazing constantly, but the muzzles reduce intake by 75%. Only thing I've found to really work!
I have a horse with what we think (vet) is a fungal skin infection so have been given Imaverol to hopefully clear it up. However, the vet told me to leave on 10-15 mins then wash it off, but I've seen online that some say you leave on and let it dry??? No rinsing needed!?!? Instructions are very...
Ha ha, are you serious!? Ifor are the flimsy ones nowadays!!! I wouldn't touch an Ifor with a barge pole. Cheval and Vans Fautras are fab trailers, built to last and their suspension systems give horses a really lovely ride. Just tow an Ifor and then one of these and you'll immediately feel the...
I fed it when they first started (especially as they had 50% off ;) ) but 3 out of my 6 horses reacted to it, gave them lumps and scurfy skin. They weren't very helpful either when I phoned them, so I haven't fed it since.
That's so odd that they won't tell you an exact figure!
I've used Topspec All-In-One for 2 years now, been very happy with it, but I now want to feed a pelleted balancer so I don't have to bother with the Graze On and Sugarbeet to mix it in. Two of mine will go on Topspec Joint Balancer (so I...
A friend of mine has her 2 stallions turned out 24/7 together, and I know of a few stallions with gelding field mates. As long as there are no mares to fight over, then it shouldn't be a problem :)
So nice to see an update. They all look amazing, love the half pass pic of Dottie! You're such a good rider, I would never be able to sit Belle's antics. Ok, I thought I was bad with all the matchy, I must have 60+ sets, but how many do you have??? :D
P.s. you look amazing too, how did you lose...
We have 60 stables and 70 acres of grazing, all in 1 acre paddocks and have plenty of grass, normally too much. I would say 15 acres is your minimum. I would have 1 acre paddocks split in half. One side (1/2 an acre) is used for summer, the other for winter.
