I'm in the same situation my boys 15,2hh only 4 years old and just starting work. Every now n ten you hear his hooves click together an he has pulled a few shoes off. Yet extra full boots are still too small!! Love to hear if anyone comes up with any alternative makes
I've made one with just cut up apples abit of apple juice and topped with water but got thinking weather it would be safe or not for my boy. He would probably just crush it and eat the apple anyway :-p

I keep seeing on fb pages people making their horses ice lollys with cut up apples and treats then freezing with either fruit juice or water. Could this upset the horses tummys or will it be as intended a nice cold treat?
