Tomorrow I am doing a jumping show and one of the classes is horse and hound.how do I prepare my dog for this ? Also do you just plead it over show jumps after you have ridden the horse?Any info will do and thanks in advance xx:D

Cheese in the hand (or any treat he likes- ours go insane for cheese though) and let him see it and smell it. Then run round and hope the lure of food is enough :D

I've won this class a few times with my old dog who was attached to my mum so I just made sure I placed my mum in the right spot so the dog would run to her haha! Havnt had a go with my dog yet but we do agility training so no worries there lol. Lots of treats and praise or what might be better for a jrt a squeaky toy to get him/her excited!!

A fistful of cocktail sausages, give him a bit right before you go in so he knows they're in your hand ready and waiting to be eaten! Tesco have them on special offer at the moment, a pound for a big tub. They're also great for humans to nibble on between classes :D
