What would your plan be for a four year old just broken (Sat on and walked down the road quietly). How long would you spend hacking before starting schooling if the pony was mature and sensible? Also bearing in mind its been to lots of shows and is well handled. Would be greatful for any advice

Hey Mozart Defo go for it now. You'd only be out a few hours - go home when you both have had enough. It was the making of Misty and helped in getting many of the other ponies thinking forward. The fact that she's not too fit will work in your advantage also for first outing

It definately helped on my ponio, she had no shoulder until she'd grown a bit. Limpet pad and had an extra girth strap put onto her saddle so results were brill with combination of the two

Thanks all We're veryyyy proud. It was the palomino's last show today before he has a holiday and break from everything until Feb time so was a great way to end a fab few months

They're lovely. The palomino has only been broken since November and has gone from strength to strength and takes everything in his stride very proud of him. I'll be sitting on the grey for the first time tomorrow but he's very laid back so it should go positively
