Thank you both, that's what I thought just to take him along for experience. I also thought about schooling him in some open grass areas without the support of the menage or arena walls, may build up his confidence etc...

I have a 4 yr old Sec D gelding he went away for 6 weeks education and has come back, he has been going well in an indoor arena and outdoor menage, holding his head nicely and forward going, we going hacking a few times a week and outdoor menage twice a week. He has only been to 2 local shows...
