Your point being?? Id much rather it be an abcess than anything else and I am allowed to say that. Dont quite get the point of your comment to be honest.
(Speaking from experience) cow pat is VERY slippy! Took my horse SJ so was only going a steady canter but as I went around corner my horse slipped and ended up on top of me! Obviously its a freak accident and although there were many horses slipping through the day there was only my horse that...
Thank you all! Its put my mind at rest slightly, Im just hoping it is just an abcess! Ive never had a horse have one before so I wasnt sure how to deal with what I thought could be an abcess, but thank you for the advice I wont give him anymore danilon incase it is! Much appreciated
***Just like to start by saying I will be calling the vet tomorrow morning before you all start giving me abuse!!***
Brought my horse in from the field on Friday and he was totally sound. Hes been in since due to worming and upon fetching him out of the stable this morning I noticed (it was...
I'm not doing any big shows!!! just the odd clear round, I don't want to compete him, I just hack and school but when I do pop out just to do a clear round I'm just going to have a cute/funny name that's all, no harm done to anyone and his name has nothing to do with the stud as stated...
hi thankyou I'm loving some of these haha! and I know my horses past well enough to know that he has had abuse, but thanks anyway. I'm not changing his name at all, like I said I just want to have a cute/funny name to call out at shows. I've changed names previously and it's totally up to me, I...
he's also not a posh type at all, he's from the sales and all I know about his background history is just abuse he's not from s big stud company, I just wanted a cute name to call out, like the majority of people I know do.
I'm not doing any big shows so it doesn't matter really, I used the name 'jigsaw blue' for my piebald with a wall eye and there was no problems at all with that. I'm not doing eventing or bsja, just wanting a nice name to call out at local clear round shows instead of just Tommie.
I have a dappled grey gelding connemera and I'm wanting a nice name to use at shows. His passport name is 'Ballinafad Tommie' but it doesn't have any wow (Ballinafad is also a town in Ireland). there's no unique markings really, other than the dapples, so I'm a little stuck.. I would attach some...
hate it when you're warming up and (it's usually little kids) come whizzing up behind you when your horse clearly has a red ribbon. not only its it unsafe, I also think it's rude to gallop full pelt close to a horse regardless of whether they have a ribbon in their tail or not
I will see if i have a video anywhere, but its looking like he may need to be remouthed. I've never had this before with any horse, thats why I'm so puzzled on what to do with him!
Yes i will get the dentist out, to look into getting him remouthed is what i meant as i will get him to double check that none of his teeth are bothering him first and then i will look into remouthing him. Everything just needs double checking before i rush into a certain solution
