Thank you! That’s really helpful with the Stubben. We always have the issue of very tight underneath but loose at the sides, so it doesn’t sound like the right solution.
The one strap isn’t an issue on the Scharf as it’s quite sturdy. I was 100% for sending it back after the weekend but the...
Hi! I’m wondering if anyone has tried the gp/jumping version of the Scharf Freedom and the Stubben Equisoft? If so, which do you prefer and why?
My boy is very round and isn’t a fan of the girth. I had the Stubben on back order - 3 months later and still no sign, so took the plunge and have the...
Hi there. I’m about to bite the bullet and get an equisoft GP girth for my boy. I’m edging towards the sheepskin liner - did you find out if it can be machine washed?
Also, how did you find it for size? I read a review that recommended sizing up?
Thank you. If Gouldhurst is near Staplehurst it's just a bit too far. It would mean not seeing him during the week. Thanks so much for the suggestion though :)
I was hoping people might have positive things to say? Or could give an honest review based on their experience - e.g. Turnout in winter limited. Happy for pms too!! Any guidance GREATLY appreciated.
Hi guys,
I've been looking for a livery yard to bring my boy over since September. I've finally found one I like but there's a waiting list, so I've decided to keep looking in case there's no movement on the list.
Would any of you be able to offer your opinions on any of the following...
Thank you for that. I will definitely give them a call. The only thing that does put me slightly off is that it is a riding school so will be very busy and there will be a lot of children around. But the hacking sounds ideal.
Anyone else got any other suggestions please?
Hi, thanks so much for the replies.
Manningtree is too far unfortunatley - google maps tells me it would be a 1.5 hour journey which would make a week-time visit impossible.
Woodredon is only 30 minutes away - have you got experience of the equestrian centre or do you know of any other...
Hi Everyone,
Sorry for the re-post. I had asked about livery yards close to East London in September 2012.
I am new to London and desperately want to move my horse across as soon as possible but haven't found a yard I am fully happy with yet. Having taken the time to drive around, I...
Update: I visited 3 yards today and fell in love with Mote End Farm. Although larger than I thought I would have liked and no 24/7 turnout in the summer, it is horsey paradise! The only thing lacking is an indoor but the staff were very knowledgeable, accessible and the yard wasn't too busy...
Thank you, Criso. I have requested to be added to the group so I can post!
Has anyone heard of Hastingwood Livery? They sound lovely, I may check them out too.
All advice very much appreciated - I am missing my four legged friend desperately, so the sooner I find him a new happy home...
Thanks everyone. I'll message you for more details elliefiz.
I will check out Aldersbrook and the FB page too, thanks.
Sugar and Spice, I just want more than the 2 hour turnout that some yards offer. In winter, he'll be stabled at night time. Just want him out during winter during day...
Hi everyone. I am new to the forum and new to London. I have recently moved here and my priority is to move my boy across asap.
I am living in East London and ideally looking for something that is no further than a 30 - 40 minute drive from Stratford/Bow direction.
I am basically a...
