Haha defo sounds like something I would have done! Maybe have a huge crate on standby incase he's poorly again! Then he can't play the 'its there, so its fair game' card - my lurcher plays that card for anything that she can reach..... Which only leaves the fridge and high cupboards!!! Grrrr!
I feed my recovering grass sickness boy barley rings. There the only thing that doesn't send him loopy and he's gone from being about 300 kgs to 395kgs :-) also pink powder and speedibeet but your alfa oil could substitute the speedibeet x
I thought the same when my boy was taken down with chronic grass sickness. Raising awareness of horrid diseases and conditions can only do good! The original post got me thinking of how much my boy drinks! Thankfully he's still doing a big tub over night :-)
