i could be wrong here but i think as a rule of the thumb - every 4 weeks is acceptable for a mar to season. i would perhaps have her blood tested as could be numerous of things causing her to keep coming in like that

hi, the best advise i can give you is restricted grazing for 5-6 hours a day max and soaked hay (soaked for min of 4 hrs) for night. if you can try not to feed any hard feed but if you have to just use a balancer or fast fibre etc. exercise is a MASSIVE factor - the more work you can do on...

would suggest that a field companion may not been the best move as the sugard in the grass are high a lot of the time so will need resticted grazing

hi guys..... im a bit of a worry wort i suppose and was just wondering what you guys do? when out hacking alone or in company do any of you have a safety net to keep the horse from running off if you fall off? eg and devices etc

ummm no i dont think she will be going again LOL - im quite gutted as i wanted to take her every two weeks - the guys dad was there and hes been doing it for 30 + years and he said shell never swim so i think i might take his advice on that LOL xx

well on saturday i took my little welsh x mare swimming for the first time.... to say she tried to kill her self would be an understatement.... we arrive all nice and calm..booted up and she was taken to the pool....i thoght at this point she would freak BUT OOOHHH NO...she decided to leap full...
