Kuk Sool Won, a korean martial art. Took it up a year ago so that when I backed my youngster this year, my balance would be better and I would be able to fall without hurting myself, lol! But I'm hooked, I love training, and I'm competing in the European Tournament on Sat, nervous much!!
I worked at a sanctuary which had a lot of donkeys, and many of the older ones had collapsed crests like this. Didn't do them any harm, but this one is extreme, and I would worry about skin infections under it. I suggest you contact the Donkey Sanctuary or Redwings for advice.
We are surrounded by studs, and every field for miles in each direction is full of mares, foals or yearlings which is challenging enough when they have a hoon around next to you. But the worst thing has got to be the stallions! Can wind up any horse when they're screaming and hooning around!

I get very angry...

This is me on my boy yesterday, 4th time of the lunge, first time solo out in the big paddock. I've done a lot of groundwork, totally voice controlled before I got on board, and the...
I think I read in a book of Richard Maxwells recently.....
'If you have to use a dummy rider before breaking in your horse, then you are unlikely to be the right person for the job.'
And I agree with that and JG on this.
You don't need one :)
