I feel that if this was really about animal welfare there would be more concern about the fact that fox populations have declined since the ban, and efforts put in to coming up with a better solution than just shooting foxes.

Normally I’d think a D ring would be better for steering, but the rs dynamic is pretty close to a D ring already, so personally I’d only try it on a bit trail scenario else you may just be sinking money.

I use the Equimins AC pellets, mainly because the Forage Plus powder was ending up in the bottom of his bucket and getting left. He’s on livery so I need something easy to use that can be made up in advance. I haven’t noticed a difference in his condition so happy with the equimins.

I usually use L94 fr trinity consultants or the Ron Fields one.

I had one that used to get fluidy swellings by his sheath. A course of detox cleared it up, and he stopped getting it at all when I started doing regular spring/autumn detoxes. May be totally different to what your boy has but worth a try.

I would also wait. Once his rehab is completed his back musculature may be quite different to how it is now.
