That would be a reasonable assumption. But then the announcer would call it ‘unfortunate elimination for blah blah’ etc. and the following ponies would be aware. I think it may have been about something a steward spotted. But they are with an experienced crew of adults who know the FEI rules. 🤷‍♀️
