my friend doesnt use an energizer at all, she has a tractor battery hooked up to the fence via two jump leads... just dont touch it (fell flat on my bum ... ouch!) definitely stronger than tiny mains one + energizer at home!
yeah, try a little less or if hes on a mix i cut that for conditioning cubes/high fibre cubes. The very hot ones that still need to gain weight get their hard feed replaced by a cup of dried calf's milk or soya oil (the milk works better but cost about 20 a bag!!) but yes, it will be so worth it...
well... i have had many young horses now, and my rules are black and white and a little bit of discipline... if he looks confused, spell it out for him in black and white... if he looks stubborn or piggish, perhaps a little smack wouldn't go amiss!!
