Another thing I do if I'm looking at a horse for sale on sites such as this, is go back through the sellers posts........ you often find all sorts of 'interesting' items about the animal for sale, which usually give you a larger background to the animal, and current reasons for selling.

My horse damaged both hind suspensories and hi SI, last year. He had shockwave 3 times, and his SI medicated. I was uncomfortable working him through obvious discomfort, so gave him 12 months off, going out in the day, coming in at night (he's a bit of a baby....) He is now just coming back into...

Thought you may be interested to know Paddy began doing this just before his Sacroilliac problem was diagnosed.......and he still does it now. Vet said he is left with permanent nerve damage. :(

That was the cost for the injections under ultrasound at the horsepital.....but was part of a £2000 claim for a "stuffy" horse recovering from colic surgery who had developed really extreme behaviour changes when asked to come back into work. These included a random fear of leaving the yard...

Cost me £120 in october.
