Is there any hope for our boy??

So sorry to hear this. I put my big horse through colic surgery 2 years ago (He was 11) I would NEVER put another horse through that now, knowing what's involved. You did your best for him. x

    Psychogenic Polydipsia

Yes!! I have taken on an Exmoor this year (13 yr old) who is obsessed by water! He drains every bucket, and can't walk past a tub/puddle anything without drinking copious amounts! This means his bedding is floating in the wee every day, and he stinks from lying in it! I had vet out, had a full...

No viewings - opinion of my advert please

I'm sorry, you've read too much into my post...... I wasn't insinuating there was anything untoward in YOUR advert, just explaining what a lot of people do these days. It's so easy to google a name or a number, and there is so much information out there for anyone to access....no one can have...

No viewings - opinion of my advert please

Another thing I do if I'm looking at a horse for sale on sites such as this, is go back through the sellers posts........ you often find all sorts of 'interesting' items about the animal for sale, which usually give you a larger background to the animal, and current reasons for selling.

To turn away or not? - hind suspensory/SI rehab, advice please.

    Holding tail to the side?

Thought you may be interested to know Paddy began doing this just before his Sacroilliac problem was diagnosed.......and he still does it now. Vet said he is left with permanent nerve damage. :(

    Boett or snuggy?

Boett everytime. You get what you pay for. I've been using them for years on my shetland. The last 2 lasted 5 + 6 years. :)

ULTRASOUND GUIDED SACRO ILIAC JOINT INJECTIONS

    # FOR surgery NOT got surgery.....stupid predictive text.....

ULTRASOUND GUIDED SACRO ILIAC JOINT INJECTIONS

That was the cost for the injections under ultrasound at the horsepital.....but was part of a £2000 claim for a "stuffy" horse recovering from colic surgery who had developed really extreme behaviour changes when asked to come back into work. These included a random fear of leaving the yard...
