Every part of him has been xrayed even his jaws head , neck , back etc etc . I’m 100% sure it’s a bit problem . He is to clever & have to constantly keep changing bits with him . But it’s at the stage now I’m tired doing that and want something that he can be rode in the whole time . He has a...

    Bits

Horse is schooled & trained perfectly so that’s not the issue thank god . It’s definitely a bitting issue hence why I’m asking advice on a bit & not a riding lesson . We average in the 70% in dressage and jumping to 1.20 showjumping so def rider/training issues . Some times horses can be...

He goes well for a week & then goes wooden , I have found if I stick a sharpish type bit in for a few days then he comes back nice and soft in the mouth . I don’t...

    Bit for my young horse

I tried him in a rubber d ring & he actually went ok in it, I’m not a big fan of d rings Though that’s the only thing. i tried him in a straight bar happy mouth loose ring, a fulmer with a copper lozenge and tried a rubber d ring yesterday on him

    Bit for my young horse

I was wondering what bit people are using on young horses that have just been broke and riding a few weeks. My horse has a lovely mouth and no problem twisting and turning, I have noticed he is trying to avoid the contact when asked occasionally. I’m wondering what bits people are using or would...

    Tucking in his head

Someone suggested the NS turtle top or a myler low port. I’m just curious if other people had success with horses who done this. Thank you for your reply

Horse grinding his teeth while being schooled!!!

I have an ISH x WB who is constantly doing it. He is very strong and ride him in a loose ring cherry roller, infact he does it in any bit I ever tried him in. I notice he does it worse when I don’t let him have his own way
