Are you jumping your horses on this ground at the moment?
i am a little reluctant (i might just be being a pansy:o) but i am getting a little impatient in waiting for some rain to soften the ground:rolleyes:.
any hints/tips how you get by when you dont have access to a surface at...
any one had a lesson with Tracey Dillion she is based at willoughby lodge farm, leics.
i am trying to find a reasonably priced trainer around notts/leics border, and just wanted your thoughts if anyone has had lessons with her? other suggestions of recommended flat/jump trainers in the area...

do balaners provide extra energy and weight gain or they are more for providing essential vits and minerals? sorry for the simple questions not really had much to do with feeding balancers before:o
i have moved my horse and his regime has completely changed and not sure if i should be feeding him hard feed or not and really just need some advise.
Old regime:
stabled, turnout 6hrs approx daily
hard feed: 1/2 scoop pasture mix & 1/2 alfalfa (am and pm)
workload: worked 5-6times a...
depends how far you are willing to travel but there is;
warkwickshire college, moreton morrell - holds BD, unaffil dress but no trailblazers
hunters, Gloucs - BD not sure if they do unaffil
both have indoor and outdoor arenas that are used for there events as well:)
we have started the canter work with the horses at work, we combine cantering in the arena with the fields (when they are not too wet or full of horses :rolleyes:)
like mentioned above it may be worth changing his bit most of our horses are cantered in gag type bits as they can get quite keen:p...
life is one big leraning curve, what may work for one horse may not for another! Gaining experience from personal experiences is invaluable, dont get me wrong i do not agree with complete incompetence and lack of care and respect. A equilibrium has to be reached.
