Hello!
I'm a student living in Fallowfield, Manchester and I'm looking for a part time job at a yard and was wondering if anyone knew of any places looking for staff? :)
Just a bit about me..I'm 20 years old, have been around horses all my life and have lots of competitive experience and...
Unfortunately I think this is just showing, it's personal opinion and can be very annoying. We showed our old rose grey Anglo Arab in a search for a star class and despite looking lovely and being well behaved he came near enough last in the line up behind horses that had bucked and been badly...
Mountain warehouse is a fantastic place for cheap walking/ski jackets that really do the job :)

On the horsey jackets side of things a pikeur one is definitely worth the investment, they last a long time and...
I never said it was because she was a mare, I meant that she is my only experience of owning a mare and she was nasty, as you should see I went on to say my mums mare was lovely, not really sexist
oh dear! Well done though, apart from the accidental elimination it sounds like you did fab! :) Your horse looked very smart too. If he gave you confidence round the fences I would move him up to 90, it sounds like he's not struggling at all :)
Geldings! I've only had one mare and she was a cow, tried to grab anyone who walked past her stable! Although my mum had a mare and she was lovely, still geldings for me :)
just looked down my boy's warmblood side and he goes back to Eclipse on that side too, weird how breeds relate to each other. Eclipse must have been huge!
Looks like our two are distant relitives then! I think they say that every horse with thoroughbred in them has got Eclipse somewhere in their breeding, so interesting!
Hi All
I have just been having a browse on the online sporthorse database and just out of curiosity added my horse in, what I found was so interesting! We were able to trace his ancestry through hundreds of years, and even traced him back to the racehorse Eclipse! I was just wondering if anyone...
Sounds exactly like my old horse, very stubborn. He would rear, buck, kick and twist to get out of going on the trailer, in the end we crossed lunge lines behind him and as he had nowhere to go he went on the trailer, then we rewarded him and took him off, then repeated. Eventually he would just...
Different pony clubs have different rules, the dc of my pony club would freak at a red collar for example and mostly tweed, plain navy or plain black is what people tend to wear, but it really does depend on each pony club, as long as you're not wearing anything outrageous you should be fine...
