    Drontal making dog ill?

I did look at worm counting, it doesn't seem to be as much of a thing for dogs does it? And it seemed to be £50 whereas my vet charges £8 for the horse. I feel like I'm missing something 🤔 this is my first dog!

    Drontal making dog ill?

I've finally found a wormer that doesn't make him really ill - panacur granules. Is this a decent option? Does it need supplementing with something else? I cant figure it out, there's so many types of worms, why is it so complicated 🙈

Do you routinely wear a body protector when you ride?

That wouldn't be too bad then, and it would be a good few years before they'd insist everyone moved up again you'd hope!

Do you routinely wear a body protector when you ride?

I don't want to derail the thread but I need a new body protector. If I buy a 2018 level it's going to be a while before they up the safety standard for competing again isn't it? There's no 2020 level or anything like that out there that they'll make the new standard in a couple of years?

Best quality of life for both horse and his human in the UK

I found North Yorkshire (Richmond/Northallerton/near the Dales) a wonderful place to keep a horse. Lots of competitive opportunities but also beautiful countryside and hacking and several active trail hunting packs doing fun rides all summer etc

    Drontal making dog ill?

My vet has said I could try this, so a 'spot on' wormer he doesn't have to ingest: https://www.petdrugsonline.co.uk/advocate-spot-on-for-dogs-250?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAmMC6BhA6EiwAdN5iLfQGyU7eBWrbkX6lSdIXN8qEd-UFcOQoArh6TT1npPZf-kNdm077SBoCD0MQAvD_BwE#646=3352 But it doesn't cover...

    Drontal making dog ill?

I have a very lean 2 year old whippet - I think a bit too lean but my vet says he's fine for a teenage boy. Anyway, to put my mind at rest he's had full bloods and a thorough check - he's the picture of health apparently. I was just using a wormer bought online - she said it was worth using a...

Farrier has cut back super long heels to normal length in one go........yikes!

No need to worry! It's what my instructor used to call me when I was a child, I could never get my toes in. Now I have no problem with that but a million other flaws have replaced it!

    Whippets

Pros: Gentle Great with kids Sleep for 18 hours a day Only *need* one walk a day, but also will happily walk and walk Don't bark much Don't really smell Very snuggly Cons: You get A LOT of comments about them being too thin/feed your dog etc especially if in a town rather than rural areas. This...
