Hi lovely people. I’m going to take the boy to do some unaff intro dressage. My gorgeous black jacket and white jods I used to show my previous horse in are somewhat tight 🙈 Current boy is a Welsh D, would my showing gear be ok for dressage? The only concern I have is that I currently ride in a brown GP saddle and my boots and gaiters are black! I can’t yet justify the cost of new boots after just buying all brown tack 🤣

Black boots with brown tack is actually correct for a lot of things (including dressage!) - although brown boots can also be correct.

Showing attire (tweed jacket and beige jodphurs) is ok up to I think advanced medium dressage.

Oh amazing. I know the GP saddle isn’t ideal but I couldn’t ride in my dressage saddle any more after my vertebra fracture, I just didn’t feel stable or safe so had to change it up.
