Tried higher cross pole today (on the lunge not brave enough to ride it:) she tucked up a tiny bit but still went incredibly high to get over she didnt struggle at all it just would be very hard to sit as she just seems to go straight up and down, do you think keep practising and she will start...

Thankyou she just has to make. So much more effort to get to the other side than if she tucked up

Any tips people on how to get my mare tucking up her front legs and thus making a getter shape over a fence she really dangles them and so jumping is a big effort although she is keen .!

ok thanks everyone but now confused is it my hip my knees or should i just push my heel out ,I do have long legs as Im 5'10'' and I ride a skinny 15hh arab which does not help im sure.

had quite a lot of dealings with these now :( I would definately put a band on it, it will swell and look worse for a while then die slowly and drop off ,dont seem to reappear in younger horses very often.

He had a puncture wound we think in his heel there are several tracts of pus leading to the point it escapes on coranary band

My Tb has a problem with recurrent abcess's (he is being treated by vet seen him today) but was wondering if there is anything you can feed to help him fight infection (we have tried antibiotics)

Does the board move easily or does the horse have to pull quite hard to get board going ?
