Better off, or about to be anyway! as moving yards on thursday indoor stables, nicer school that has a better surface and doesn't flood so i'm hoping it won't freeze aaand the best bit, its 12 minutes from my house rather than 40 minutes away!! :D
Still no luck finding her owners! but she has been given the name Minnie for the time being and has 3 people ready and willing to take her on as their own if knowone turns up for her, she is a lovely little pony and will be very much loved and cared for by everyone that knows her now.
Still not been claimed, and no one has come forward with any knowledge of where she may be from, she is however very happy and content and being well looked after where she is at the moment, and the yard owners are happy for her to stay for as long as necessary.
Mine are clipped out totally, nothing at all left on and are in hard full time work! be it lunging long reining riding etc the do at least an hour daily so the clip is needed.
I have done it for 22 years by myself, never ever had a problem and i have clipped well over 150 horses, obviously not all needed twitching. but each to our own.
Not true, clipping and twitching on one's own is very do-able!! you can get twitches which you can attach to themselves and they stay on or you can do a DIY twitch involving a hoof pick (without brush)
