I did research a while ago and weight wise, towing etc. appears fine. I just wondered whether the actual lack of the plate is an offence? I also do have the correct license - was a bit worried about the missing plate. Thanks

My trailer doesn't have a label giving weights etc. Its a lightweight Indespension Regent and I tow with a 2.00 4x4 diesel 170bhp Yeti. One 14.2 pony only. Does the lack of the label matter? I am pretty sure that we are legal weightwise.

I have an Indespension. Fabulous, but they are not made anymore. One occasionally comes up for sale though - google and see if anything comes up.

I can really recommend a Connemara pony in your situation. Don't come cheap, but worth it. Have a look on Horsequest and find one that's been there and bought the Tshirt. 14.1 to 14.2 would be ideal for your situation - very versatile animals.
