    £285 a month - that's mucking out mon-fri. Turn out/ bring in mon-fri and changing rugs mon-fri. It also includes 1 haynet a day and a bale of shavings per week. Everything else is on top.

    white mill vets in sandwich do equine work - pretty good but milbourn in Ashford are great - if you can afford a little bit extra go for them!

    Strangles vac

    the company that make it withdrew it from the market due to safety issues I think! Anyway not back on the market yet! Intervet were the only ones with a strangles vaccine so there are none available at the mo!

    Riding dangers – BBC Report

    IMO more accidents are happening due to the fact that more inexperienced people are taking on horses - the number of people that walk through our yard having just purchased a horse even though they don;t even know how to muck out is amazing! Inexperienced riders need guidance and help but...

    Cost of hay?

    approx 8 sections to a square bale therefore a bale should last around 4 days. Let's call it 2 bales a week! At the mo it's about £3.75 - £4.50 around here!

    Cost of part livery or someone doing your horse per day?

    I pay £285 a month for part livery mon-fri. That's bring in/ turn out, muck out or poo pick field, change rugs, make up feeds and haynets and give them. I don't buy hay or bedding but I do buy my own feed. Hope that makes sense!! Not bad I think esp since i'm less than 20 miles from central...

    How many saddles do you own?

    have 2: a bates GP which is lovely but I think i've only ridden in it a handful of times! a wintec isabell worth dressage saddle - the best saddle in the world - lovely deep seat and very comfy!!

    my best has to be (after bucking into canter and then all the way around a 20m circle! ) obedient to canter but very jolly!! The last test I did I got "Well done for completing the test - horse a little highly strung at points!"
