I wash the grease and grim off with warm water and I add a small amount of washing crystals to the water which helps remove the grease. I then follow on with Albion soap and then Albion balm.
I have a liver chestnut and he looks great in the le mieux benetton blue, fuschia pink, burgundy and peacock green. Am not so keen on the terracotta .. am debating for my next purchase whether to get the coral red, blueberry or lime :)

My horse's feet seem better with the Kevin Bacon from other brands tried. I believe the winter formula is solid stuff but meant to go on easier on cold weather .... I may be wrong
Not sure of the exact prices but would recommend the Kevin Bacon hoof range. Am currently using the oil myself but will change to the winter formula when this runs out.
Also a supply of baby wipes is very handy.
