Has anyone's horse suffered from choke from accidentally eating unsoaked SPEEDIBEET (NOTE: I'm NOT asking about conventional sugar beet. Speedibeet ONLY))
When this stallion was sold n Ireland as a 5yo. it was declared that he had 'a very mild form of sweet itch'. Has anyone had any foals from him, and did any show signs of sweet itch?
Apart from Western Armada (too old) and Grey Palace (too small), are there any Connemara stallions in the UK that have jumped to grade A? I'm am NOT interested in those that have done WHP/ M&M WHP only
I have a TB mare, successful in point-to-points I would like to put in foal to a RID. Are there, in the UK, any PURE Irish Draught stallions that have jumped, evented or done dressage to a high level? I'm not interested in those that have only been shown (which seems to be most of them). Thanks...
I am showing a 2yo pure ID in hand. How much trimming can I do? While in theory the heels are to be shown in a 'natural' state, I understand that lot of people trim them to almost nothing. I would really like to do that! Advice please from RID people
I have a pure ID mare I would like to breed from, to produce an eventer. I need to find a PROVEN TB stallion, that has either been successful in eventing in his own right (has got to Advanced) or has bred successful eventers. Apart from Sula Blue, any other suggestions?
I m thinking of buying a motorised flail paddock topper to be towed behind a Land Rover. I am concerned that I will be unable to see properly where it is cutting, unlike when towed behind a quad bike. Does anyone use a 4WD to tow these?
Thanks for that but presumably if they were bred locally they were conceived by natural covering. I wanted to find out how well his chilled semen travels - from people who have actually used it.
Ireland is full of registered Connemara stallions that have reached the level of Grade A showjumping in their own right but I have been unable to find any in the UK that have either jumped successfully themselves (in classes other than Connemara classes) or sired proven successful jumpers.
