I totally agree with this, I bought my mare as a 4 year old with one and at 11 no reoccurrence (touch wood). They are so easily treated and it doesn't change the horse, unless you want to show it!

I absolutely love my Woof Wear ones, they don't move, they stay in place, and even with a soaking in the water they aren't heavy. There only downside for me is that they make my horse sweat a little when she is going along but she does have the worlds hairiest legs so that probably doesn't help...

Hi Have you found an instructor?? If you just want purely dressage Tina Atkins is very good, but if you want everything then Micheal Paveley is brill, I have him and my horse isn't much of a dressage fan (neither am I to be honest) but he has helped fine tune us!!

I use 2 small studs on the front feet and 2 larger studs on the back feet, the smaller studs allow very slight slide but will give the grip it needs and the back feet stud bigger as my horse is quite large and does have a tendency to slip even on perfect surface But would always say use 2 studs...

Omg massive difference, I was in the same boat till last year when I bought my lovely Albion Kontact Lite and has made a massive difference, keeps my legs in a much better position and feel so much more secure Totally converted to jump saddles now, and now believe that GP saddles should be NP...
