Thanks for all the advice. He currently has a rugby pelham which isn't that thick. Tried him with a Myler pelham which was also very thin but he still did it. Also ride in a contact but still does it. Are bitless good for brakes ? Plus I can't show in a bitless or hackamore. I'll keep...

I have a welshy (D) he is a good doer. He is out 24/7 at the mo with a rug (coz I'm a soft arse !) he gets fed when I'm not at work so maybe 3 times a week 1 x scoop chop 1 x scoop alfalfa A oil 1/2 x scoop cheap mix
