Where have all the hirelings gone

I think hireings are a fab idea, when you compare the cost of buying a ready made hunter then keeping it, a hireling has to be a no brainer for people with little time/inclination to buy their own - or only want to hunt every now and again......

    Long term Mystery Lameness

If you have pots of cash you could look in to regenerative joint medicine like IRAP. Can be touch and go if it works and I think about 500 pounds a go - depends if you have money to spend. And perhaps try a good joint supplement, I am using Joint Active by YuMove by Lintbells with Green Lipped...

How much to expect to pay for grass full livery in Essex?

I'd say about 180 per month, we are in Surrey and that is about the going rate for a retirement type livery set up where the horse is out 24/7 but everything is done for you.

    Cartilage Damage Front Hoof

Hi there, I wondered if anyone had any experience with cartilage damage in the front hoof and what they did to help? I am looking at various supplements at the moment and considering a coffin joint injection. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of lameness? I have also been looking...

    Experiences with Splint bone fractures?

Hi, I have had two friends with hind splint fractures (one particularly bad but in a very young horse) and both are now sound, did take some time to heal, in the region of 8 months. They are both absolutely fine now. Was obviously very sore and lame to begin with, but in the grand scheme, it...

Have you had any luck with steroid inject in the coffin joints?

I have been thinking about this also for one of mine and it got me to looking at new supplements also. He is barefoot and this has definitely helped but he is still slightly lame, so was thinking to try a joint injection as well as a new supplement. I have just written a blog on it here, but...
