Thanks all. Some useful things to try.

My 19yr old mare has started coughing when eating her hay and hard feed. I am soaking the hay, and putting water in her feed. She is ok when out on the field and when she is not eating. Before I get the vet has anyone any thoughts?:confused:

I walked the course yesterday, and was a bit worried about the forecast and the effect on the ground, which was wet and slippery in places. After pulling out of Tweseldown and now the cancellation of Munstead, it looks like the next one for me is Chilham at the end of April. Surely it can't keep...

It is very bad this year. My fields, which this time last year had lush grass on them, are in a poor state. All I can say is when it does become milder, with all this wet, you will be able to watch the grass grow!!!
