Just wondering if anyone has any experience good or bad of this?
My little cocker spaniel girl has recently been diagnosed with pancreatitis and isn't mad on the prescription diet from the vets, (and neither am I - the ingredients seem to be lots of cereals/meat and animal derivatives).
I...
I call my two the 'Hoodies'. I think 'a mayhem of spans' sums them up quite well too lol!
Anyone else have Spaniels that are delighted with the flood waters/think it should be like this all the time?!
Agree with Tedley, Direct Line have been great for my dogs. I have used them for over 10 years and they have paid out thousands of pounds pretty much every year! Make sure you get a Life Time cover policy.
Avoid E and L at all costs.
In the interest of fairness, I rescued a foal from the RSPCA 6 years ago and he is the horse of a life time and has a forever home with me. I have been offered good money for him but he is absolutely priceless to me. Honestly wouldn't part with him for a million pounds :)
An equine inspector...
I know its a random time of year to be looking at fly veils but I am looking at matching sets to request for an xmas present. The ears of a Full size fits my horse but then it comes too low down near his eyes. I have had a quick look for Cob sizes but cant find any. I really like the Cavallo and...
Not sure about resp specifically but I use Emmune by equine America teamed up with Propell plus which also has echinacea in it. Touch wood my horse hasn't had any lurgies since I have been using this combo. He is like the kid at school that gets every snivel going.
Oh and Bluechip as balancer...
The main difference in these breeds is generally facially because they have been bred for neotenous features. The KCCS is probably the most infamous example of this. But they have failed to mention all the new designer dogs every where who are pretty much just mongrels. Theses first generation...
There is a new faction of Bulldog breeders, breeding back in all the old characteristics and I think they are doing a fab job :) . It has rather divided the breed into two groups though I think.
What a good idea tescoexpress, clamping or kicking - i like it. If not I may take to beating the inconsiderate ones with spare tree branches! (im joking dont sue me tesco and mithras)
Clearly the OP is trying to make things more enjoyable and safer for everyone - if you don't want that you are...
Please please talk to a vet about this. Strangles is a complex issue and it can cause a lot of dramas and bad feeling on yards if it's not properly managed. Ask the vet about the bio security measures you need in place and for how long. As for the rugs, I'd probably burn them having seen what...
Good idea to phone actually as they dont like you to bring them into the practice if its poss kc incase you spread it to all the dogs in waiting room lol! Good Luck
This could be caused by dozens of different things so I would definitely go to the vets. Dogs still often contract kennel cough regardless of vacc. It is known to be an unreliable vaccine due to there being so many strains of kc. Also one dog in a household could have symptoms and another be...
Agreed, as I said, try ignoring etc first. But some dogs just like yapping and get carried away doing it and it becomes self-rewarding so sometimes negative consequences are needed. I know a lot of people are very against any sort of sprays or gadgets which I totally respect but when you get in...
