I have similar dilemmas with the cyclists in Cornwall.
Majority, at best, are rude ignorant and pretty aggressive, also showing little consideration for other road users.
Get the occasional one down here who calls out, but my mare when surprised will " have a go" at the offending...
Our YO has super rich knee high grass that the all ten horses at the yard are expected to use. Needless to say our two boys only out 4 hours a day.
YO lost 2 horses to laminitus last year and another is currently on box rest for it.
Yes, we are looking for another yard with less grazing.

I tried the Naf Magic shot stuff on my mare.
On the day I gave it there was little or no difference.
Next day she was a complete lunatic, almost unrideable!!
Following day back to normal.

I am not a serious dr rider(if its not jumping, its not real competition), but enjoy the outings.
