wow thank you all, each response was so useful..i've printed the pages! I need to get my bum into gear I think, there's more to do than I originally thought. I won't be teaching on my own horses but clients on their own and I feel better now I'm clearer on which insurance I need. I've decided...

Gone Self employed..What do I need legal wise!?

Excellent thank you both. I am onto the HMR&C and so that will all be sorted very shortly. Thankfully my dad runs his own company and is good with stuff like that. phew! Still would like to know what minumum qualifications you need to teach with, or is it just insurance?

Not really CR, but worrying myself sick... and you guys know about comp horses..

The hunt came past my friends yard the other day whilst it was in the stable, the way the yard is set up meant the passed no more than 30 metres away from the stables and it has sent her mare very strange.

    My Tekna doesn't fit :(

I got mine couple of days ago, it seemed ok and horse went well in it however I have a sneaky suspicion it might be a tiny bit tight on his shoulders but am getting it checked out in a weeks time by Milners in Melton Mowbray, they can adjust it but its going to cost me £95 to do it. worth it...

What is the routine for your dressage horse?

I am also interested in eventers and showjumpers routines but since mine competes dressage only I would love to see how others keep theirs to compare/take tips :D I try to keep mine quite simple as I work 9-5 weekdays but my MAIN interest is how often yours are ridden per week and when...

pics + a vid - CS working today:

I havent read all of the posts as quite frankly it was driving me crazy, but I fully agree with dressage crazy, the horse is tense in most of the pics and looks a little unhappy and I agree the naughtiness seems to be a release from the pressure. However I think that PS is a very nice rider with...

After Rossi's accident in the field yesterday which left him with a very sore chops (bruising and a large cut inbetween his lower front teeth and incisor) I called my dentist Shaun Carroll who was due to come out at some point this month anyway. Neue Schule Verbindend Bit..Any Good?

Has anybody had any dramatic (or small!) results using this bit? I've been browsing through their website and have decided upon this one from what they say themselves about it. But tried and tested advice is always the way forward ;) x
