I found my TB put condition and it settled her tummy nicely, but I did find her ridden work challenging especially as it was rehab walking!

This is my mare completely, except maybe middle of winter, where her warm stable and haynet are, she will get jealous if her field mate comes in 1st, but just stands and sulks until I arrive, but its more about being peckish then being left alone.
Mine is on individual thru winter, horses all around, but once she goes back to 24/7 shares with another non clingy mare, both are happy to be left alone, leave one another etc.
I've always been happy with herd turnout, its the other owners who don't pull their weight with poo picking & field...
I've had 2 mares with very similar symptoms, colic got more and more regular, cut back on different parts of their feed, grass, haylage, etc & scoped and it was ulcers.
If he was mine, I would be stepping back, getting him checked out, back & saddle & once given the ok, get him out hand walking as much as you can, I find it just as rewarding, stop for some grass, take some treats, look at the views, when he's happy to leave the yard with only your company, then...
