    Urea Levels in blood test

Thankyou for your post. I've tried googling it but the information is quite complicated and I can't seem to find any straightforward figures. I have tried to clarify with my vet, and I am persisting, but he too is like the internet...complicated and not straightforward!! How did you find out...

    Thermography

Has anyone had any experience of this as a diagnostic tool? Also, does anyone know if there is anyone who practices this in Yorkshire or the North East of England? Or if there are people who are prepared to travel from other parts of the country. Thankyou!

    Urea Levels in blood test

Does anyone know what the parameters for urea levels in a horses blood sample are? And how high would qualify as a raised level? My vet isn't particularly forthcoming with information. Look forward to hearing from anyone who can help.

I asked the vet to go through the evidence for the diagnosis again, which he did, although not with the same conviction he had done...

The seasons concerned have seemed to be painful and distressing for her. She goes very quiet and introverted. Shows no interest in what...

    Poorly mare

Hi Brightmount, Thankyou so much for taking the time to read through my post, and for offering your advice. We head to the vets later this week so I will let you know how we get on. A little bit of good news is that she is much brighter again and the twinkle in her eye has returned.
