How much excersise to do with a pony

Hi, Im just bringing my 12 year old driving Shetland pony back into work. He lives out 24/7 and is currently very round. Just wondering how many days a week and for how long I could excersise him for? Eventually I'd like to do a 6 mile drive to a local tea rooms ? Thanks

My little ponies causing me a lot of anxiety.

Yes I keep my 4 shetlands at home and my riding pony at a livery yard through the summer as he likes company when hacking out.

My little ponies causing me a lot of anxiety.

Ideally since life has got busier I'd just like two again that I can spend quality time with rather than sharing my time between 5.

I think what's started this bout of lami is a move into a different paddock and the new spring grass. I spoke...

    Bolting pony

People have told me once a bolter always a bolter. I'm so worried if I sell as a companion what happens if she's resold and people are not honest about her. I have 6 ponies and only bought her to match my Gelding .
