Anybody ever used a dry horse shampoo?? Any recommendations?? Got a grey highland pony that only has a rug on when very cold so is a NIGHTMARE to keep clean :P thought I might try something new this winter as cant brush him too much otherwise removes oil from his coat and don't really want to...

I have just changed my pony's feed to good doer chaff and lo-cal balancer, because he gets sluggish in the winter - the grass and hay will probably be low vits+mins. The balancer gives him all the nutrients without the calories

Has anybody got any advice on whether or not to clip my highland pony this winter. He is in light/moderate work, being hacked nearly everyday for an hour during the week and then jumping practise and hacking at the weekends. Last winter he was a nightmare to cool down and I regret not clipping...
