equestrianclearance.co.ukis a good place to pick up good deals and also alot of local tackshops etc have rug sales on this time of year, so you might pick up something there.
I went to mine and got a 1200D mw amigo reduced from £72 to £49.99

Good luck!

If you've got the time its amazing what a bit of googling can do! Trouble is 6'6 always seems quite a popular size (know from experience) although if your horse isnt fashion conscious you'll always get last years collours cheaper.

My lad has some lovely rugs in pink and coral plaid!! they keep him warm and dry - he'll never know!!

Horseloverz.co.uk had some own brand rugs very cheap, medium weights are £27.

My friend bought one for her TB a couple of years ago and it is still going strong, she loves it.

I had to get 6'6 mw and hw turnouts for my new horse recently, had a good look round and ended up with two lovely mastas for £100 inc postage from equestrian clearance. They dispatched instantly too. I think they rock!

I've got a Horsewear Rhino stable rug combo in 6'6" looking for a new home.

It's this one:

Tough Polypropylene Outer Shell
SureFit neck design
Patented ‘V’ front closure system
Integrated Neck
Cotton Lined
HEAVY 370g Thermobonded fibre filling

Just cleaned and ready to use. I bought it on eBay last month but it's going to be far too heavy for my unclipped baby and it will be too small by next year.
