I had the same with the mare I shared. After a couple of months of using a whip/spurs eventually I didn't need them. She was the same as the other post on here - very slow unless jumping or hacking. After a lot of persistence it all paid off!!! Loved that horse she taught me so much :)

I have a race safe zip up one, RS2010. They are so comfy!!! Mine is the short one, I think there brilliant. Fallen off once with it and it definitely helped, the good thing about them is you don't feel like your in a straight jacket like some of the strap around ones feel like :)

My friend imported from Spain and it did not work out well at all! She ended up having to part ex him and had to go out to Spain for a day just to sort it out. Has a lovely one now but still - she would never do it again!
