After a rather painful fall today my parents have offered to buy me a new body projector. I'm a curvy girl and used to have an airowear which I loved but is too small now. I have heard good things about the race safe ones?

What do you guys have?

I have a race safe zip up one, RS2010. They are so comfy!!! Mine is the short one, I think there brilliant. Fallen off once with it and it definitely helped, the good thing about them is you don't feel like your in a straight jacket like some of the strap around ones feel like :)

I have a racesafe and love it - SO comfortable compared to all the others I have tried, and very lightweight. Also very protective in my experience as I was in a nasty riding accident wearing one and the bits of me that weren't covered were completely battered, black and blue, my legs were a mess! - but the area my body protector was covering didn't even have a scratch on it. Highly recommend! Hope you're not feeling too sore after your fall x

I have a knock off Racesafe type one, it's pretty comfy but I would say go for the real thing, my daughter has the real thing and it feels and looks a lot more flexible than mine

I have a kanteq that I bought direct off the kan website and I really like it.
Its specifically made with women in mind and is basically made to your measurements and before its shipped to you Wendy who owns the company rings you to find out what type of riding you do, whether your asthmatic etc to ensure the best fit.
If your not happy with it when it arrives they will try and alter it for a better fit or you can return it and get your money back.
Lots of people on here really rate them.

no no no no no, you can hardly tighten or loosen the racesafe ones, now lots of people have the aerowear outline body protector. you can alter the straps easily and they last a long time. i defonitely recommend them as i have just bought a new one as have grown out of my teen sized one but they do womens, mens, teen, and childrens. they are more expensive than the racesafe protectors but they are worth those extra pounds!!!

I have a Racesafe 2010 and love it. I barely know I'm wearing it and I'm in no rush to take it off when I get off the horse - I've been known to ride in it then do my mucking out afterwards in winter and I've forgotten I've got it on. It's only when I've got back in the car that I've realised it's still on!

^^^ this

I'm quite busty and the Kan is fab fitting and soo comfy as they do them in different shapes to suit your bust. Tried Racesafe before and it just didn't work for my shape

I love my Rodney Powell. It's so comfy and feels part of you rather than like you're wearing armour. They do them made to measure too so I feel reassured that it fits properly.

I'm also wondering if people would buy a second hand one online.
