Why is it that...... (cat related)

Yep, little Mini cat will wait for us to snuggle down in the bed & turn the TV off, basically the moment we are obviously trying to get to sleep, then jump up & start yowling & purring as loudly as she possibly can, gets under duvet, takes up far more room than a cat of her size needs etc. Then...

    Arthritis, opinions? (also in veterinary)

Thanks for all your replies, plenty of food for thought there. I will show my friend this thread so she can have a read of it herself. She is taking him back for more tests next week so by then will have a fuller picture of what is going on with him, will post an update :)

What's she like with wormers etc? You could mix it with enough water to make it into a thin paste then syringe it into her :)

    WOW!!

I believe it's natural, some horses have the genes to grow really long manes & tails just like some people can grow floor length hair. As for the breed I would say Andalusian or Lusitano :)

She will carefully gather up every single toenail the second they hit the ground, hoard them in a big pile then guard them (yeah, coz I really want to nick them!) as she sits & munches them :) Never had a toenail induced pukefest yet, she must have...

    Arthritis, opinions? (also in veterinary)

Thank you for posting all of your experiences, good to know that there can be light at the end of the tunnel :) My friend has just rung me, it's hard to tell what the vet has told her as English is not her first language & she is not very familiar with veterinary terms but from what I can tell...

    Arthritis, opinions? (also in veterinary)

Thank you for your reply, wow I'm so glad your cob improved, there is light at the end of the tunnel then :) Will he ever be suitable for ridden work again? The thing that was worrying me the most about my friend's horse is that every article I have read on treating arthritis has been dealing...

    Arthritis, opinions? (also in veterinary)

A friend of mine has a 17.2 IDXTB, 18 years old this year. He has been intermittently lame for the last few months, firstly behind, now in front as well. My friend has been using a chiropractor & has had some sort of spiritual healer to see him, but this poor boy was not improving so I finally...
