There is footage on the Daily Mail website showing the bus and taxi that were hit and the rider. There is a definite hole in the bus windscreen. I wonder if the grey horse put his leg through it somehow hence the blood.
Watching that makes my blood run cold. I hope the horses and everyone involved are OK. I do wonder if this will bring into question whether central London is a suitable environment for horses.
Mine lives in a heavy duty plastic box with a clip on lid bought from a DIY store. It's tall enough for bottles of fly spray and detangler. It lives in the stable on top of a big trunk.
This reminds me of an old tom cat I had who would fight a lot and get abscesses on his head. I always knew when he was brewing an abscess as my German shepherd dog would keep licking his head until it burst at which point i would deal with the mess and clean it up.
I was taught to tub a hoof...
I use a nose net most of the year. The cause of my horse head shaking is the tiny flies and midges. I often struggle to see them but they obviously bother him. I'd try a fly mask with a nose and ears to see if that helps.

The OP has got some great advice from two experienced fitters. I have a friend who works for a local tack store as a fitter. She started work in the shop and progressed to trainee saddle fitter and...
I eventually got through to Viovet and then sat in a queue for 30 mins. They explained they are very busy because a competitor closed down. That's a nice problem for them to have but it's not my problem. I pushed for a delivery date and I was told the prescription would be checked today and...
I ordered nearly £300 of Danilon last week from them. Order confirmation stated it would be delivered today at the latest. I've checked online and after 6 days the order status still says 'checking prescription'. I tried calling and the phone doesn't even ring. Sent an email to customer...
Oh no that sounds very stressful. I hope you find somewhere suitable soon. The only piece of advice I can offer is to use your friends and influence asap. If you have a friend on a local yard enquire for vacancies through your friend and/or mention your friend when enquiring direct. Yard...
I'm another unfortunately who wouldn't give a penny to the RSPCA. My experience with them was quite a few years ago and the case is too complicated to get into on a forum but they were more interested in threatening and prosecuting people than getting a good outcome for the animals involved.
