I do. Simply because I do a fair bit with my cob, who has a thick coat anyway, and I don't want her to be getting hot and uncomfy from working.

Both mine are clipped. (Ones clipped all year anyway) and I clipped out the Sade monster the day after she came back into work. She was moulting like there was no tomorrow!

Mine usually have either mondays or Wedenesdays off. Unless I'm doing sleepovers/nights then they'll get the day off after that shift off.

Im just under 10st. I only want to loose half a stone before I'm happy again! My sister is a size 16/18 and my 15hh Irish cobx mare carries her ok, although she does seem struggle at times, more so when jumping. But that's just my mares personal limit. Doesnt matter what breed/height the horse is.

Oh gosh how awful A ladies horse at a yard I used to be at died of a heart attack mid lesson, it's an awful thing to have to witness.

I'll (very reluctantly) be clipping my young 'un pretty soon, even though she's just about to come into work after a tendon injury, her coat is a massive fluff ball and when her coat is all winter wooly she gets bad skin irritations. Bummer eh?
