I have a yearling and have identified some swelling in both hocks - it is highly likely these are bone chips
If this is bone chips - what are your experiences of when to remove them...

So after a failed vetting I’m now looking for vet recommendations North Yorkshire please 🙏
(And motivation to keep looking for my new horse should this one fail the vetting too 😭 )
And than do you analyse each time it is supplied as is likely to come from different fields each time (unless you have cut it from your own - that is)
It is a complex world and I really don’t want to feed more than I need and or pay more than I need to!
I think that’s what i was curious about - in that there may be deficiencies or anomalies in just feeding modern hay/grass- but I do wonder who perpetrated or disseminated this information?
I would prefer to feed vey simply (grass/hay) and want to make sure that I am supporting a growing...
But I went to see a horse that was described as excellent to hack alone and it wasn't??? How much more basic can I be??
I understand it's buyer beware and do your homework, and an element of subjectivity around terms, transferability of different knowledge discourse!! Equally,, I'm sure...
most people I speak to know what this term means!! It's a light hearted term for a horse that throws one, or both legs.
I understand the subjectivity around terms and when speaking to owners on the phone have asked specifically, is he/she conformatonally straight, any injury, any bumps...
