We have just had our outdoor (25x 45m) levelled out (had low and high pockets caused by the inept constructor who first built it before we took over the yard) had new silica sand and rubber surface laid and with materials, labour etc the cost was £5000 - worth every penny its now a fab surface...

I feed my show horses C&C, alfa oil and copra meal for those that need extra conidtion - cant recommend c & c highly enough - for condition without fizz

We have a yard near to Canterbury and the hacking is excellent - plenty of bridleways, Chartham Woods, the Wye ride and we ourselves have a 40 acre farm ride and x-country course on our yard - probably about 40 mins from Maidstone

I kept my horses at Aston Manor many years ago and have to say I have never met a nicer man than Mike Slater, a true huntsman who wuld help and encourage anybody, and a real diamond. His parties were legendary and were some of my happiest times. RIP Mike

We have cow mats in 7 stables and they are fine but have just done our other 5 stables out with mats from Black Mat company - and they are fab!! so much easier to sweep over and a bit lighter and a grreat price delivered within 3 days of ordering - highly recommend

She is a pain and a typical chestnut mare but I cant help but love her - we had her in to produce and sell on and guess what... muggins here ended up buying her!!! Thanks for all your advice I feel a bank account bashing coming on

Good thinking - will see if I can try one of their models for a week and then decide on a girth. As I have a thin skinned chestnut mare who seems to get rubbed at the slightest thing I need to choose carefully

Tried a dressage WOW today and felt it vastly improved my seat and horses way of going - I am so tempted to purchase one but as they are a relatively expensive saddle are they worth the money? also is it worth buying the WOW girth or is this unecessary?
