    Bits for giants?!

I have had quite a few 6" plus bits from Risley Saddlery and they have been really helpful(useful when all your boys are giants and nothing fits!!!) I can reccomend their website risleysaddlery.co.uk I think. Its a shame that a few of you have had bad treatment at tackshops. I think bad service...

    Support your local tack shop

I agree my local saddler bends over backwards to help. They do have a web site but I like getting my mitts on the stuff. Cheaper isn't always better!! ps Risley Saddlery is my saddler

Can anyone explain this for me? (Bit related)

We solved a very similar problem with a Hilary Vernon Mullen mouth hanging cheek after talking to staff at my local saddlery (Risley Saddlery in Derbyshire). They rang Hilary Vernon and asked her for further advice, it's worked a treat!

    mcgenis bit

The magennis used to be an old huntsmans bit. I think it's like lots of bits good if used properly, evil in the wrong hands!!

    stopping a rug biter!!

I use tea tree oil spray by gold label. They don't like the taste of it. I know several breeders put it on the top of mares tails to discourage the foals chewing it.

Had my saddle made to measure at Risley Saddlery they were really good and prices were lots better than I'd seen at other places. www.risleysaddlery.co.uk
