Cabotswood Boots.

I read about these boots in Horse (I think it was Horse, maybe Your Horse), and then I saw them at Olympia this year, I really quite like the look of them, and they are very comfy indeed

. BUT I would love to hear your views on them before I think about possibly buying them

, I really quite fancy the Cavendish ones

Are they warm, hardwearing etc etc

Tried them on today. Were lovely but a bit too narrow to fit jeans onderneath. I have fairly wide calve though

I did find that I didn't fit into my usual 39, couldn't get my foot in

, but tried on a 40 and they were lovely, but I have very scrawny calves.

Thats weird, as i got a pair for christmas, the wincanton, in my usual size (40) and they are absolutely massive! Like wearing a pair of wellies. Was going to send them back and get 2 sizes smaller, but now i am unsure?

Tried some on at Olympia and thought they were awful....really thin scrawny leather - bit like wearing a baggy sock!

Bought some amazing Really Wild Spanish boots instead (and got the bargain of my life in the process!)

I got some of these boots from Risley Saddlery and I love them, soo comfy!! Good price too.
