I am looking for a female farrier that would travel to Walsall area even if I have to pay extra I don't mind , my pony Is terrified of male farriers and I don't really want to get her sedated to have her first set of front shoes! thanks
anyone on here do western pleasure riding? or know how to ride western generally? I was interested in starting my mare off with it, I would love to try it and get some lessons and then have a go on her. Rosie is currently 3.5 years old and walks/trots under saddle, goes over poles and hacks out...
does anyone know of any horse auctions local to west midlands but generally anywhere that has horses going to slaughter if they don't get sold? do most auction houses do this? once I am driving I would love to rescue a horse from slaughter, but am unsure as to where people actually find them!

ah brilliant, so is fast fibre pretty much complete then? i sound like a complete beginner now but does nothing else need to be added, no chaff etc? thanks for your help its something thats puzzled me for a while
So, at the moment, Rosie is on half a scoop of dengie healthy tummy and sugarbeet, carrots when i have them. she was on heygates conditioning cubes and since taking her off them, she seems perhaps not in as good nick as she was before, less shiny coat etc.
so what should I feed her? I want to...
i only really ride ponies i dont like horses particularly im 5'8 and i used to ride a 13hh and a 13.2 but rosies 14.1 and a half so its alright :) plus im only 8 stone so its not like i squish them
