hello all, I am looking for a female farrier that would travel to Walsall area even if I have to pay extra I don't mind , my pony Is terrified of male farriers and I don't really want to get her sedated to have her first set of front shoes! thanks

does anyone know of any horse auctions local to west midlands but generally anywhere that has horses going to slaughter if they don't get sold? do most auction houses do this? once I am driving I would love to rescue a horse from slaughter, but am unsure as to where people actually find them!

just rung them, I do believe it is the right dealer, but he was out so ive given them my number to see if he might call me back, the lady said she thinks he keeps records so, fingers crossed. I just want to find my boy!

i only really ride ponies i dont like horses particularly im 5'8 and i used to ride a 13hh and a 13.2 but rosies 14.1 and a half so its alright :) plus im only 8 stone so its not like i squish them
