Hi, If you're having steering issues you could look for a rubber/happy mouth full cheek snaffle. Full cheeks did wonders for my 4yo when jumping.

Personally I would persevere for at least another two weeks. If you still have a problem or if the issue gets worse then perhaps contact a physio to establish if there is a reason that she isn't willing to pick her feet up for you.
