Bit Help Please

Hi

Looking for some bit advice please.

Looking for a bit for a horse that don't really like me touching his mouth before a jump, but need steering so don't run out.

At the moment I ride in a loose ring jointed snaffle.

Instructor suggested something rubber, any suggestions that have work for you please?

Hi, If you're having steering issues you could look for a rubber/happy mouth full cheek snaffle. Full cheeks did wonders for my 4yo when jumping.
